Hi! So I recently got an E-Bike, (it’s going to be my main transportation for a while) and I’m trying to find a good website to have a custom carrier made for my Diego, (my beardie and best friend) up until now, when I’ve taken him with me while using a lime scooter, he wouldn’t let just ride in his sling pouch across my chest, (he actually really loves it! Always poking his head out and looking around, he’s a very shy, yet curious and adventurous little guy for sure!!)
With having our own e-bike now though, I really want to be sure that my best friend is safe whenever out on the e-bike. I’ve got 3 custom racks for my e-bike that I could use to attach a carrier on, though I would personally feel better if I could find a carrier that still goes across my chest where he’s on me and I can more easily talk to him if he seems to be a little nervous. But at the end of the day, it’s still an e-bike and things can happen you know? So I have been looking for a good sturdy carrier , maybe something with a light yet strong rollcage of sorts to help keep him protected should, God forbid, we get involved in an accident or something. My question is, Does anyone have any experience with this or know a good online dealer maybe that could help me to craft something like this? Ideally I’d love to be able to really go all out and custom make one that could potentially even have like a portable battery pack that could power some sort of heat sorce if it’s a little cooler outside for him. Diego has severe separation anxiety and so he tends to end up going on most of my daily errands with me these days. So a good, safe carrier is of utmost importance to me. He’s my absolute best friend, and I am determined to keep him safe.
Thank you for your time and any advice that you might have!

I actually made a small carrier out of a plastic tote and some wire screen. With the lid being able to come completely off, it's easy to get him in and out.
That sounds interesting, I may use that idea for basic travel like on the bus.. but for on an ebike, I kinda want something a little stronger, or do you think that would be enough? I don’t want it to be crushed if there were an accident. I wiped out on my ebike the day before yesterday because some ***** was texting while driving and not paying attention. Diego was with me, but thankfully I was going slow enough at the time I was able to make sure I didn’t fall on him. Just bruised my butt pretty badly. But it made me even more determined to find the best solution I can to ensure his safety!

I don't really think there's anything that's gonna be super strong that won't break if there's an impact, other than a soft carrier, which I wouldn't recommend.

You could try an extra small dog crate maybe?

I would for sure cushion it from the outside. I would not use a pure soft carrier, but something that has a hard shell and is soft to the outside and maybe inside.

(What I use:
We're normally not putting him in/on any vehicle, including bikes. The reason is just that it doesn't fit our "daily lifestyle", i.e. have no car, I don't ride a bike, hiking areas can be reached by foot. We have, however, a carrier, just in case Taco has to go to the vet (we'd then go by bus), or if we would have to remove him from the enclosure and put him somewhere secure for a while.
As small pet carriers aren't really available and he would have fitted through the bars of a cat carrier when he was smaller, I bought a kind of box that's widely used here for things like crafts supplies or bigger lunches, and made holes in the lid. It's exactly this one
He goes in and stays there without any problems. Just the first time I put him in, when he was approx. 6 months old, he was fighting like crazy likely as he associated being put in a box with being given away (previous experience: breeder -> 1500 km travel to pet store -> to me). Second time putting him in, it was no issue at all. I regularly use it for taking his weight as we have an odd-shaped kitchen scale that has no platform he could sit on, and so he also stays used to sometimes being in there.)

Gus - he’s a rescue!
How much water should I be giving my bearded dragon? He will only drink from a dropper when I drop on his nose and I’m not sure if I should give it to him until he won’t drink anymore? Or should I stop after he’s had a certain amount?
Just want to check that if my beardie is ok I managed to get a video of him yawning today and screenshot him with his mouth open does he have mouth rot??? He is eating and drinking normally btw, the discoloration on his left of the mouth has been there for a month but the discoloration on his right side is new
