Crusty eye

Deeno is about 5-6 months old. Just recently I noticed his one eye has a crust over it. The day before I saw a cloudy water bubble and grabbed a tissue to soak it up without touching his eye. Then a few moments later a smaller bubble. Next day looks like this… took Deeno to the vet, the vet thinks that a bug scratched his eye. However I have video on him 24 hours a day and no bug comes that close without him eating it. He eats fine and poops normal. I gave him the antibiotics but doesn’t seem to work. I gave him a bath, but not softening. Any suggestions???

So it's a coil- please get rid of it and invest in a solid clear bright white basking bulb example exo terra intense- flukers basking bulb or Arcadia halogen - next you need a good uvb long tube fixture- I can post 3 good ones for you tomorrow morning w/ website's - also you can use some textured NON adhesive shelf liner- cut to the size of the tank -

If it's a coil it is inadequate - they can cause eye issues- he looks ill and miserable in the pics
It was his bed time… he was sleeping in that picture … here is a normal pic of him…

Hes so little -- his surface basking temps and UVB are critical at this point - he is developing / growing and you want all this on par or he will develop MBD and other health issues w/ out proper lighting - please post a pic of his tank so we can help you w/ his setup

I know the pet stores sell those things, but they are all wrong for beardie care. @KarrieRee is right about the coil uvb bulbs. They dont give enough uvb and give it in only a very narrow, concentrated spot. You want something like this:
The only 2 reliable uvb tubes are this one (zoomed reptisun t5 10.0), or arcadia t5 12%. There are issues with other brands that are sold and they dont produce consistent uvb. A zoomed reptisun bulb is not the same as the tube light. You need the tube light. It will save you a lot of heartache down the road, and the tube light is good for a year.

I will take a picture in the morning. it is a 6045 Exoterra terrarium. Using a 125 Watt Solar Glo UV lighting system (UVB/Basking) bulb, 13watt Natural Light UVA. Temps (sorry in Celsius) Basking point is 38.1- 41.2C
temp on the hot side is 30C, Middle is 28C, and the cool end is 77F. I have two UVA (25W each) bulbs that I can turn while at work since I have a camera at his temp along with Wi-Fi plug to turn on/off extra heating source. the basking light sits about 21cm from the tip of his basking area, with other areas to receive the source. I check the temp with a temp gun, basking sits at 105-107F, other areas are about 94-98F when i shoot the temp gun.

I will check, but not for sure if they sell in Japan.

His bed is in there since it is bedtime, but usually another smaller rock for him to climb on... he is sleeping on the bed post like last night....I don't keep food dishes and water bowl in the night while he is sleeping. the first night he fell asleep in it, and after reading about that, not good. so, I moved him, and it was never again in there at nighttime.

Ok, gotcha. The solar glo is a MVB. A coil led for brightening up the tank is ok. Some people have had eye issues in their dragons using the solar glo because the uvb from it is so intense. Some people have had no issues with the solar glo. But, since your beardie is having eye issues, that MIGHT be the problem.

I absolutely agree. I have the Reptisun tube.

@Shanekjp
I understand that getting supplies abroad can be tough (I'm in Chile and reptiles are quite uncommon here).
In the worst case: There are companies that enable import from e.g. Amazon or others - the original seller ships to them in the same way as shipping to a private customer, they forward. But first you might try any internet commerce platforms used in your country. Here I also cannot use Amazon directly but some pet stores import such lamps and sell them on regional internet commerce platforms.
