It's not crusty like tail rot but it concerns me. I've been rubbing it and giving him baths frequently to try to help the bloodflow. Is this a wait and see type of thing? You can see if you look closely where it starts getting dark that it's slightly crooked and that's what I believe is causing the darkness due to poor circulation I feel. Thoughts? Suggestions? Advice? Words of encourgement to make me stress out over this a little less? :lol:
Hi there....that type of very slight ripple is pretty common and is no health problem. It's also very common for their tails to be darker toward the end....this forum is full of posts about beardies just like yours. No need to do anything, and rubbing can irritate it so....relax + enjoy your pretty leatherback.
