my 40 gallon terarrium came with a styrofoam backround, and my baby beardie (4 months) can climb on it and stuff, but he cant see the crickets when they crawl and hide on the backround, which they do. they will all hide on the backround and not move and he cant see them. i have to go in and knock them off and put them in his eye line. should i feed him in a seperate container? should i take the backround out? thanks
I feed my bearded dragon in a separate container. That way she can get all of them and they won't hid anywhere.
It is not good for your bearded dragon to have crickets wandering around. Crickets are nocturnal and will bite your bearded dragon at night if left in there
You can leave the background in there, it's good for him to climb around and get exercise
