Corner viv for two??

I've got an Idea for a corner viv built for two...when my fiance and I get our own place...

It'll be pretty big- with compartments under for cricket keepers/ incubators and supplies... and a removable divider at the center corner... Any thoughts? When I figure out the next step, I'll upload my sketch from Google SketchUp...

Then I'm reading about introducing new beardies to "old" ones...and wondering if the corner thing, with windows to see each other would be a good idea or if they'll stress each other out?

Thanks

The only problem I can think of with a corner viv for two is getting it large enough...it's one thing to have a long tank against a wall, but it seems that a corner tank would have to be pretty large. For instance, if a standard rectangular viv is 4x2x2, you would have no problem getting a 2' depth out of a corner tank, but 4' length in each direction? I guess it depends on whether you're thinking of an "L" shaped design, or a curved design. A curved design that stretched 4' on each side would be ginormous.

Yes, It's going to be pretty large... I planned on that. I forsee it being a pretty large project when I do it...

As per some of the details, the divider would be opaque- so they couldn't see each other ALL the time, but it would also be removable for when I'd like them to socialize...

I haven't gotten a second beardie yet, haven't started building- I'm working on getting my own place with my fiance first. Once we get in to our own spot, THEN I'll Build what's going to be a monstrosity for the corner. I'll let you know when I get the place and keep you all updated when I build.

I really wouldn't recommend it especially since they are not going to be the same age, but you could build the enclosure that way and use a non see through divider. Bearded dragons are not social creatures and are territorial so if you allow them to see eachother within the enclosure they may get stressed out and/or violent. If you want to have them together I would suggest doing so during bathing times and when you have them outside of the enclosure. Always keep a good eye on them as they can turn on eachother quit fast. My beardie never was fond of my sisters when we lived together at our parents.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
cookie event at my library today, quite fun! Made some bracelets for my comrades too, to give them at church in the morning. Got a busy day tomorrow even though I’m off work… i go back on tuesday so atleast I’ll have 2 days off to rewind….then back to hell lol
