Constipation?

I have a 9 month old bearded dragon and usually he poops 2-3 times a week, sometimes four. He is currently on a diet of crickets and dandelion greens (that he really needs to eat more of...) and I just introduced mealworms on Sunday, and now he won't poop. I'm worried he's impacted. The last time he pooped was Friday morning. I gave him a warm bath and he looked like he might've been trying to go, but he didn't. He doesn't seem to be in any discomfort though, but his stomach is very full. I read online that maybe offering mineral oil will help? I have some from the pharmacy, but I want to make sure it's safe to give him before I do it.

Make sure you have surface basking temps of 95-100 taken w/ a digital probe thermometer - a good UVB properly placed for your screen-- No coils - it is not uncommon for them to slow down on the pooping - the meal worms could impact him if you fed him a lot at one time --- you can feed him some plain canned pumpkin w/ a drop of olive oil and a drop or two of honey for taste--

Thanks so much. I'll try it if he doesn't go tomorrow. At what point should I be worried?

If everything is on par w/ your surface basking temps and UVB he should go -- its not uncommon for them to go weeks w/ not pooping - you can also feed baby food pumpkin as well
