I got my beardie around 6 weeks ago. I've had her (guessing her, no clue what the gender is).
She's obviously a baby/juvenile dragon, however the man I bought her from had no recollection as to when she was hatched.
She is 9 and 1/2 inches long, and weighs 39 grams.
She has hardly grown in the time I've had her, and was just concerned if something was wrong.
She is in a 90 gallon vivarium, temps are 105-110F warm side and 80F cool side.
2 basking bulbs within 6 inches range.
1 ReptiGLO 10.0 (I know, I will be getting the ReptiSUN as soon as possible) within 10 inches of her.
She has a rather muddled feeding routine at the moment. She gets her salads daily and occasionally eats on them, but her crickets vary. I was feeding her 8 three times a day, once dusted until I was told to feed more. So she was getting as many as she wanted in 10 minutes (around 30) but then she started refusing to eat any more for the rest of the day.
That's all her details.. and I was just wondering if I'm doing anything wrong. She just doesn't seem to be growing!
This is my baby :
As long as you're going to be changing the ReptiGlo to a ReptiSun I really don't see a problem with anything you're doing!
Do you think feeding twice daily would make her eat more? Maybe you could get her to eat 15 or so in the morning and 15 in the afternoon (a few hours before lights out). It sounds like you're doing everything right!!
She's probably going to have a major growth spurt soon, haha. One of mine worried me for a long time, then she had a deep shed and grew a ton!! Now she's my biggest girl.
I don't think there's anything to worry about with her, you're doing everything right as far as I can tell. When you do get your Reptisun, though, make sure it's 6-8 inches away from her instead of 10 though.
