so finally I brought my beardy home after long research and preparation. Aswell I went to a breeder who has a very good reputation and went multiple times to choose between the beardies he had. Finally, I decided for one which behavior I liked from the first day but the thing with him is that the tip of his tail has been bitten of when he was small. The breeder told me that I shouldn't worry about it and that he has no medical disadvantages because of this.
The reason I'm posting here is just to double-check since I cannot be too careful with my beardies health I guess, although I have to say that even when I watch the tail from close I don't see anything that looks like a sign of danger. (I only found out about things like "tail rot" after i brought him home.)
I'll put a close picture of the tail in the thread for reference.
Thank you very much for your responses in advance!
To quote me but what I’ve learned about tail injuries is if they’ve happened in the past and the has healed without any sign of infection or if it does turn into tail rot it would have spread up his tail. If it’s healed which it appears to be just fine and I definitely don’t see any signs of tail rot, it won’t affect him at all. Just a little shorter lol . He’s a good looking dragon
