I have to stop reading at this post. (Of course, I am crying. I keep trying to be strong) we were with you all of the way. We have no doubt you were loved and are going to be missed terribly. I am so sorry for your loss~~

Last update I’m going to give.

The vet offered to do an autopsy free of charge since GNT is more rare. I agreed since I want to help future beardies as much as possible. The tumor had metastasized and was not only connected to his stomach but also his liver. The vet said I did the right thing brining him in a day early because it was going to perforate his stomach. I’m so glad I was able to help my baby pass peacefully and not from the trauma of a perforated stomach. It was so hard but I’m glad I let him go when I did, I could tell he wasn’t having much fun anymore.

Thank you all for the love and support. I’ve posted on this site like crazy (helicopter parent) ever since I got Clyde and it’s been my number one tool for advice for him. Thanks to this community he lived a spoiled life will all the right care <3 He will be missed.

I hope you continue to be a part of this community. I also hope when your ready that you get another beardie. You did great by Clyde and gave him all the love a beardie could hope for, beardies need more keepers like you!
