Ok so I threw in a few superworms into my dubia colony and i have a few of them pupating within the egg crate depressions... figured they would have just stayed larva since no isolation but guess they made their own little areas to pupate? Question is this... does anyone use the superworms and beetles as a cleaner crew within a colony? I know i've seen people use them in bioactive setups within the main enclosure itself but how about just having some in with the feeder colonies for cleanup?
I throw my dead dubias (not that there are many) into my super colony and they make short work of them, so at the least you will have carcass clean up, although they can't seem to manage the head plate of the dubias.
I have a few of the beetles from my original superworm colony roaming around in my dubia colony. There are only 3 so it's hard to even notice them unless I really search but they seem to be doing well in there.
