Chuckwalla

I called the reptile store today to see if the Chuckwalla was still there. They gave it to the other person that had originally asked for him. I'm really bummed out, I kindda got my hopes up to work with him. I kindda thought since it had been days and he was still there that maybe they would go ahead and let me bring him home. I just hope she is able to take care of him and doesn't make his health worse. I told them if she should bring him back that I want him still and to let me know asap. I dunno why I felt so strongly about this guy, but some how I was really drawn to him. I'm usually not like that. I hope she rehabs him and releases him someplace safe.

Yes, we can only hope that he will be properly taken care of.
You did the right thing by warning the store not to lose contact with you if they refuse him. So if they can't cope, he will be able to get help from you.
