Chicos shedding with tail surgery

Chico had been shedding for a little over a week all has come off except a few spaces mainly on tail and feet. When do I need to start gently brushing with a toothbrush? He had tail rot before I got him from retaining shed. All temps and humidity are good in his tank! Pic included

When the tail become crackly and peeling then use water misting him and the toothbrush

Yes tails can take a really long time - it will do it's thing you can't speed it up

I understand just keep an eye on it -- shedding is a natural process
