So our little guy turned 4 months old a few days ago & is up to 150g & 14 inches long !
Before we got him we made a rock wall out and finally just put it in now that he’s too big to scale the top of it .. but he’s still climbing !! Is this a problem ? He can get up and down fine but I’m worried about him being too close to the bulbs.. his basking bulb is 100W on a thermostat set to shut off at 115 degrees. His UVB is Arcadia 12% t5 in a reptisun
Fixture on top of a mesh top.
Not sure if hes climbing to climb or trying to get to the UVB bulb -- your screen looks like its wide holed - what about the placement - can he sit directly under it approx 8-10 inches from it --- I would get your basking temp down to 110 for the highest 115 is too hot -- and your getting your basking temps w/ a digital probe thermometer correct?

Getting the basking temp with a temp gun! And I ready juveniles should have temp 110-115? He has a very tall stick it’s about 6 inches from the very top to the screen which does have pretty wide holes. I’m pretty certain he climbs just to climb , he often spends a lot of the day in his hide actually
