My I live near a creak so Pete's cages humidity goes up every once in a while but it takes a few days to go back down. I bought a Ceramic Heater Emitter bulb to help combat this. I just figured when it goes up I'll use the CHE for a few hours or until the humidity goes down. When I used the bulb it makes a tiking noise. I wasn't sure if that's normal or not I have no experience with these type of bulbs.

Certainly, they should not make any noise at all. First, check the bulb and replace it with a new one. If the noise persists, the problem is with the fixture.
