Hey, I have a 3 month old bearded dragon, only had him for about 3 weeks now and he has always been somewhat timid of me but I use to be able to feed him worms right out of my hand and he wouldn't run and hide from me as much as he does since he started shedding, plus he hasn't been eating nearly as much as he use to. When I put worms in he stares at them as if he is interested but then looks at me and will not go to eat them. Is this due to the stress from shedding and what should I do? Please help!
For my little guy, this is normal. When he sheds, he does not want to eat and he is down right crabby. He doesn't try to hide, but he doesn't want picked up. As soon as most of the shed is done, he is back to eating and wanting picked up. Good luck
