Hi my Beardie has pin worms and coccidia... I am waiting on the medication to be delieverd and was told that giving him so pro biotics would help.. I went to my local grocery store and with no luck couldnt find the Soy yogurt.. I was able to get Danone Activia 0 MFG 0 % suger added?.. Is this safe to give to him?..
What I am being told is , to try to get ithere capsels of probiotics and use 1/2 a capsel mixed with some baby food like butternut squash... or if I can get "live probiotic" it would be better , which is the liquid... I am just about to call the pharmacy over at the wallmart to see if they have any capsels, myself... I am waiting for my beardie's medicaiton to arrive , from miami :S ...

Not sure about Canada, but many US conventional grocery stores (at least here in the Northeast) have "Natural Food" sections with refrigerated items, too. This is where soy yogurt might be. Just a thought.
I'm not familiar enough with Ontario to know if your home town is rural, or a suburb of Ottawa. But I can think of two kinds of stores where you might be able to find either soy yogurt or live probiotics. A natural/health food store, and an alternative medicine/compounding pharmacy. The health food store might carry either or both products. This sort of pharmacy rarely carries food items, but would almost certainly have the probiotics.
