Cancerous tumor, full tail amputation, recovery?

Hello,

That is wonderful he is doing so well. It is too bad he lost essentially all of his tail, bless him.
It looks like he has made a good recovery though. Is he eating good also I hope?
I hope he is healthy & happy & acclimating to his new body mass.
