It looks like it flipped over all on it's own. Is this some form of submission? Did it actually want a belly rub???? I want to believe it did. Haha. x3 I don't see how it would be a way to defend itself because the belly is a vulnerable place... Isn't it hard for lizards to breathe flipped on their backs?
It's my understanding that uromastix do this as a rejection behavior to spurn a male's advancements. So it did flip over on it's own but that is not necessarily a "cute" thing. More likely it was stressed and hoping the person would leave it alone.
