Can I use disinfectant (hand sanitizer or sanitizer spray 99.9%) (urgent)

Hey guys I ran a errand for food and bugs for my girl and I came back and she went to the bathroom and it was in the "crease" of her mat.

Her mat needs to be replaced and it went into the grooves and the metal parts of her enclosure (Zen Habitat 4x2x2).

I am in a tight spot and I can't afford another brand new $300+ enclosure so I was wondering if I could remove her and disinfect it to get the smell and germs out of her enclosure (and save it entirely).

When my boy had coccida, the vet told us to disinfect everything with a bleach/water mixture. Not sure if that would work for your situation. Other than that, I have a disifecting spray I use to clean up my beardies poo. I attached pictures. Hope this helps!

Bleach absolutely will not kill Coccidia. Just an fyi 🙂

Just use some diluted ammonia to clean the habitat. It is toxic so be sure to rinse with clean water and air it out to zero fumes. Best part is ammonia is only like a buck a gallon.

Also another fyi ammonia is one of two viable ways to kill Coccidia. (If your fighting it) the other is very high (200 + degrees) heat. Both need 10 minutes contact to kill it.

As a rule most everything else bleach is fine, but is also toxic and needs to he rinsed and aired out to zero fumes.

That might be a lot better than the light soap and hot water I use I am fairly quick to attack and she barely ever goes in her enclosure (she's spoiled).

But every once in awhile she will when I'm not home and she can't get out or hold it she will generally pace her enclosure so I know she's gotta go.

I'll pick that up and test it out I know hand sanitizer and disinfectant wasn't gonna happen but I figured I'd get some feed back so I appreciate it
