Can Claws Grow Back?

When I first got June, she had lost the tips of several of her toes due to retained shed not being removed by her previous owners. It's been almost two years now since I adopted her. I was just removing some retained shed from one of the feet with missing toe tips when I noticed what appears to be a brand new claw poking through on one of these toes! I always though that once the claws were gone that was it. Has anyone ever heard of this before? Why would it take 2+ years for a new claw to come in?

I know geckos and beardies aren't the same but I think Jilly is growing one of hers back on the foot that was chewed on.

The gecko I got from my friend has most of her toes gone also. After a while (maybe a year or so...?) and I can feel a couple toes coming back! It feels cool when she crawls on me without claws, I have to say. But I'm still happy they are coming back :D

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?

Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
