Hello, I´m new to this forum, and English is not my native language, so please go easy on me regarding grammar and possible reposts (I allways try to search before I ask, but on a new forum it can be challanging finding info even if it might be there )
So to my question:
I live in Norway, far out to the west cost,so polution and peptesides are likely no issue
We have at this time of year HUGE amount of true heather blossom / Ling (Calluna vulgaris), and I was wondering if they could provide a valuble sublement for a beardies greens ?
I'm not familiar with heather blossom. I don't think it would be part of their natural diet. I don't see much information about it being toxic or not. This site shows that tortoises can eat the leaves and flowers so it is not likely harmful. You might try very small amounts and see if your dragon likes it.
Thanx..
I´l try some carefully and see hov the dragon reacts..
Another one:
Can they eat rosehip ?
I know they can eat the flowers.. but the fruis have an 'out-of-the-charts' Phosphorus/Calsium ratio
(185mg Ca / 35mg P) giving an index of 5.3/1
