I took Pippin outside to play and get her UVB. The vet said she is on the chunky side so she needed to run around a bit. We have a peach tree outside and I picked one of the leaves and showed it too her. Sometimes I do things and have no idea I am doing them until much later. She took a bite of it and ate it. I know I shouldn't have showed it too her but as I said I sometimes do stupid things like that and have no idea I am doing them until it is too late. She only took one bite. Will it hurt her? Should I rush her to the vet to have her stomach pumped or something?
How is she doing? From what I read, fruit leaves all have a degree of toxicity and shouldn't be eaten. The green leaves are worse then dried leaves. Make sure she doesn't eat any more, ever.
