I'm not normally a small dog type of person...but a big breed just doesn't work for us at this time. An I'll never have to worry about this one getting to big. Won't even have to change the cat door as he won't ever get bigger that Beefy. Plus with a big dog I'd have to worry about their clumbsiness around the beardies. We have discussed getting a pug puppy for about 2 years now and decided the time was right. He's a little sweetie. Doesn't cry or whine...doesn't go the bathroom all over the house big pluses in my book. Him an Itty Bitty met nose to nose yesterday she let the puppy know right away she was the boss. Unfortunately the camera battery was being charged at that time so I didn't get pic's of it. Blaze wants to bite him...he's such a little jerk he often acts like he want to bit me too...he's just got attitude...mostly bark. Cause as soon as I pick him up he's all clingy and snuggly....just doesn't like the act of being picked up.
 OMG! Miss Piggy is the same size as the puppy?! Here I thought you were just picking on her all this time. Wow, now I know just how pleasant plump she is.
Great pics of her 'annoyance' with the puppy putting his paws on her.
Well we know Miss Piggy is in charge, right? And how dare that stuffed animal move, anyway? Really great pics, Barabara and give the new baby a hug. I just watched the baby thread, awwwwwwwww, well I'll just melt into a puddle right now!
((((((HUGS to the new puppy))))) can't wait to show these pics to the crew, see what their opinion of your little pug is
Let's see......9 full grown beardies, one clutch of babies and another hatching any day now, a cat, a toddling grandson, a bigger toddling grandson, Richard and Frank!
....and you say the time was right! I think I need a drink just thinking about it and it's only 8:30 in the morning(not to mention...I was out on the beach drinking all night)
On a side note....that pug is absolutely, undiscribably, without a doubt.... cuter then any dog should have the right to be!
I can see why he was so hard to resist!
Actually it's the kids an animals that keep me together. Okay maybe not the kids...but the animals are like therapy for the damage that the kids cause.
Okay Frank an I sat around the house being lazy all day Sunday kidless...Frank must have gotten bored again...it seems he can not pass up a chance to get poor grumpy Bender's attitude goin'. Bender's been in a shed for months now it seems as soon as on part sheds another starts. Now it's his head again...when his head sheds or is getting ready to he hates to be touched.
Honest Dad I Will Bite You!
I Don't Want To Calm Down Don't Try To Pet Me!
I'm Serious!
Don't You See I'm A Big Bad Dragon An I Will Bite You?
"Grumpy" Bender?!?!?!?!? That sweet ol' smiling boy?!?!? How could that be? He's our resident happy-go-lucky beardie!
I love that big ol' open mouth. He looked so mean . . . NOT!
The last pic is so adorable. Even though he's all mad and annoyed, he still looks like he's smiling. Really, he does!
Aw! He's so adorable even when he's being grumpy!
For a minute I thought the next picture was going to be of his mouth on Mr.Frank's finger! Zinger accidentally bit me for the third time two or so days ago and ouch! it hurts!
Barbara, I wouldn't be convinced he'd bite me, either. He may be trying to be convincing, but that sweet look in his eyes say 'I'm not really going to bite you, but I'll do my best to convince you, I know what! I'll get my black beard going, o.k. so it's just a gray beard, well maybe they'll be convinced"
It's funny Frank and the older kids say he's a little jerk because he always has attitude with them...he's not that way with me. I tell Frank that he just has little man syndrome. He doesn't stay mad nor do I really think his mad just like you said Lori he's just trying to look convincing. He's getting ready to shed his beard and head again...so even though his black beard isn't ever very impressive it's even less so in those pic's with it all frosty looking. I caught him head bobbing arm slamming and going nuts the other day over Ms. Piggy who was roaming the house. It was so funny because she's a monster and he's so darn little...could you imagine? She could bite that little booger in half....but he's got no fear of anything.
Gina he is truly a smiley guy but not when his head is shedding.
