Hi all, my name is Samantha and I am buying some things for my bearded dragon, Spike! I would love opinions about what I list below, if you think it's a good idea or otherwise. Thank you for your time; I only want what's best for my guy! Please, help me do right by him <3

Facts About Spike:
- I am unsure if he is a male or female, but I intend to attempt to sex him within the week. Even the vet was unsure.
- He is an adult, though his true age is unknown. I've had him for almost 3 years, but he was an adult (I believe) when I first got him.

Things I Want to Buy:
- Bee Pollen
> It was recommended to me, though I am unsure what it's benefits are. I intend to do my research before buying it, but I am just curious if you have any experience with it?
- Fluker's Repta-Calcium with D3
> He needs new calcium, and this forum recommended a calcium with D3 in it.
- Rep-Cal Herptivite Multivitamin
> Again, this forum recommended that he be on a multivitamin, which I had not idea about.
- Zoo Med Electrolyte Soak
> He is having a hard time pooping, and every time I've given him a soak with something added, he's been able to pass his problem. I am excited to try this, but please give me your opinion!
- ZeeDix Coconut Fiber Mat
> This is for half of his cage; the other half is a loose substrate, but I ensure to never feed him on the substrate. I also track his poops, to make sure everything is going okay. I keep the loose substrate because Spike LOVES to burrow and dig. I completely understand why loose substrate can be an issue, but his vet was okay with my using it, as long as I never feed him near it/on it.

The best way to hydrate them is using an eyedropper. Unless they actually drink in a bath there is no benefit. Trouble pooping can be attributed to dehydration. If he won't drink readily from the dropper add just a little none citrus juice for flavor. If you add the juice be sure to use a wet cloth to wipe away any that runs into his scales. The sugars in the juice could cause bacteria or fungus in the scales. Also go slow at his pace, never force it. If forced it could cause aspiration. A plastic eyedropper is better than glass if you xan find them. Their bite force is sufficient to break the glass ones.

I can't give any info on the other products, but I use Bee Pollen for Mirage and he loves it. I sprinkle it on his greens in the morning and he devours it! :D

Thank you so much! I think the electrolyte solution will help Spike, as he does drink in the bath. Just to double check, are all the ingredients okay for a bearded dragon?

Zoo Med Electrolyte Soak (Ingredients List):
Electrolytes, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B7, Vitamin B6, Prebiotic, Probiotics, Beta-Carotene (Vitamin A), Silicon Dioxide, Citric Acid (Preservative), Mixed Tocopherols (Preservative), Vegetable Oil, Rosemary

Another reason why I think all these vitamins would benefit Spike, is the fact his diet is TERRIBLE. I am re-doing his entire diet, and trying to buy new produce for him to try. In the meantime, however, I really think this solution will be helpful. Let me know what you think, of course, and thank you!

I think they should be ok, it has beta-carotene so I wouldn't offer carrots while using it.

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?

Hey! We’re the same age! That’s cool!
Hi there a little update we went from a 50 watt heat lamp to a 100 watt basking halogen heat lamp hahaha I saw some comments about it being so close so I made sure to put it a ruler away from her
Has anyone seen this before? Something in the corner of his mouth
