Yes, diluted or undiluted is fine. Raw honey does heal things very well, in studies it's better than other topical ointments. Only give a gentle wash if he actually gets it dirty somehow.

Hello,

They do heal a little slowly so try to be patient & give it some time. Just be sure the dust in the tank is minimal so
it cuts down on the chance of infection.
If there are any raw areas just dab some sterile distilled water on the areas to keep it clean. Or a very diluted betadine
solution is fine also, before applying any honey on the areas.
