I was petting my little man (Osiris) a few seconds ago under the chin, and noticed two almost what feels like the two muscles in our necks on the side. Like when you turn your head and the muscle sticks out on the side. I just fed him some super worms and some veggies at about 4:00. Is this something I should be worried about?
How's your boy doing? Did you ever get the mass in his mouth diagnosed/biopsied? He's a big boy, looks healthy, so that's good...The muscle on the sides of our necks that connect to the bone behind our ears is called the "sternocleidomastoid", I'm assuming it's the same name in beardies but I'm not sure off the top of my head. Either way, yes it's normal for you too be able to palpate them, they do the same job in beardies as they do for us...
