So you've got him eating out of your hand already. Puff tolerated having his face wiped after getting squash all over it, but I don't think he particularly enjoyed it. If we didn't wipe it off right after he ate, it would harden and then it would be really hard to get it off the next day, so I hope you can work things out with Bee. I once heard of someone who took their beardie to the vet because they thought he had a growth on his face and it turned out to be hardened squash. The fact that it was orange colored should have tipped them off. At least it was easy to fix -- no surgery required
Yes I had forgotten about Broly's salad eating habits waaayyy back at the beginning of his thread. I can't believe you kept it going for his whole life -- that's amazing. It wasn't a short life either. I suppose it's not unusual for a beardie to change his food preferences over the years. Puff liked earthworms at first but had a heck of a time eating them. They were too slimy for him to get a good grip on them. I put a lot of injured ones out in the garden LOL Toward the end of his life he didn't even like hornworms anymore. That's unheard of. He used to go nuts over them.
I noticed that your Eagles got into the Super Bowl and I thought of you. I haven't even been following my Packers lately, but I wouldn't really call myself a "fan" of football anyway, although I enjoy it when I do watch. I know just enough about the game to not be totally lost. My dad taught me most of what I know. He wanted to play when he was young but his own father wouldn't let him because he thought he would get hurt. Then he grew up to be a big husky guy and his father thought he should have let him play football after all. My dad and I used to watch it and play arm-chair quarterback together. One time the quarterback was back behind the line of scrimmage looking for an open receiver and I said, "Get rid of it, you're going to get sacked!" and my dad said something like, "Gee, you really do know what's going on, don't you?" I guess he thought I was just pretending to know. But my husband and I are not watching the Super Bowl today because my he's not into football at all, and he's taking a nap right now. He thinks the players make too much money for playing a game, and one where they might get injured for all that, and he wishes they would donate more to charity, although I think at least some of them do. Some of our friends used to have a Super Bowl watching party complete with lots of food and drinks. They'd even get root beer especially for my husband. Neither one of us drink. But they got to where they weren't up to it anymore so they don't do it these days. Anyway, by the time you read this TLDR the game will probably be over. I hope your Eagles will have won. I can't remember who the other team is, but I'm pretty sure they're not playing against the Packers
