As I'm doing a lot of crafts, I indeed had thought of doing something with the shed (not done yet, but maybe!).
There are some crafts projects online using reptile (often snake) shed, which is covered with resin to make a pendant (usually, it is painted lightly, or a colored paper is put behind to make the scales stand out more).
