My dragon has been wanting to sleep all day long this week. With it being may is that normal? She never has went into brumation this time of year before. I’ve had her 7 years now. Last few weeks she would get up on her own between 8-10 am and want to sit in the window or outside on nice days, even try to climb walls and being somewhat active. A few days she was a handful and all over the place. Then the weather here got rainy ant the beginning of the week and temps dropped a little bit, yesterday it was around 80 degrees out and she still seems sleepy except when we were outside. When we go out she holds her head up good and she also seems to still have her appetite when it comes to bugs and some fruit. I let her sleep for about 3 full days and the first day I woke her up she ate about 7 ml of crit care like she was starved. when we’re outside or she’s in her lights she will hold her head up and look around but soon as she gets inside or a little darker she starts acting like she’s sleepy and closes her eyes after a bit. Some days she’s wakes up as soon as I uncover her other she takes maybe 5 min to wake up or me picking her up first. Yesterday I put her in the bath since she loves to swim and she walked to the side and just held on and didn’t want to move from there. Soon as she was out she was ready for bed. Only thing besides the weather that changed was I got her a lower temp basking light since my room gets a lot hotter when it’s a little warmer out. The old was getting to be around 110+degrees on warm days where she set and she’d only stay in it for about 45 min to an hour before going to the cool side. The new one gets around 93-95 degree. She does have a 6 month checkup with her vet Mon. Just want to make sure I don’t need to get her seen sooner by someone else if something is wrong.
