I noticed his on my 2 year old, it's about 2 weeks old and it's getting lighter in a sense. he does like to lay on his logs and he hops around in his tank. i got a spray to help incase it's an infection. hes completely normal other then that. eats, basks, loves being held. normal temps. i'm doing another deep clean in his enclosure today after work. any suggestions on what this could be? i tried researching but nothing looked like this besides bruises

Hello,

That does look a bit odd. How long has it appeared like this? It probably is just a strange shed. I
would keep an eye on that area, to be sure it doesn't spread or become bigger. I don't think that
they bruise like we do, per say. Has he fallen that you know of?

i think since september 22ish, he is rough he likes to jump around and lately he's been forcing himself under logs to sleep. i've been bathing him and using a spay for his scales this would be the 3rd day. it's not getting worse per say. he has 3 of them on the same side, one on the side. one further down on the same side and on his back leg of that side

Hello,

That is very odd. I hope that they shed off. You could try putting some silver gel or antibiotic ointment
on it for awhile to see if that helps out the area. It doesn't look fungal to me so for now keep an eye on it
& hopefully it will improve.

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
