He's getting sloppy about it in his old age too. He used to go downstairs to do it (or do it in his bath) and then go back up on his basking platform where it was clean. This time he sat in it, and Daddy washed him off under the faucet. I don't think he liked that -- half a beard and a dirty look. It's gotten a little "warmer" here lately, relatively speaking. "Up" in the 20s instead of subzero, and a little snow. A nice break. We've had really cold temperatures for about a month now until recently. We usually get that kind of weather in January. Christmas shopping is crazy. My husband went to Costco for groceries yesterday and it was crowded -- hard to maintain social distance and half of the shoppers don't wear masks. But he managed to get home in a reasonable time and hopefully without any covid mutants -- he's good at wearing his mask. He got a new wool jacket for warmth. Nothing fancy -- just plaid. Ready for Christmas? I don't think we are (can't believe the year's almost over) but at least my husband has a week off. [/QUOTE]
