So I am new to the whole Beardie thing it's only been like 3 weeks but I have latched on so hard, I love my little guy.... I have been feeding him crickets everyday and it's starting to get expensive so I thought about breeding crickets. From what I've read and what I've been told it's ***** proof.... Well here's the *****.... I've been trying for 2 weeks now to start breeding crickets yet I haven't seen one flipping egg!!!! So while looking through the forums for help I started to stumble upon Dubai Roaches? From my understanding Dubai Roaches are easier to breed and don't stink like the crickets do? Right now for my crickets I have a 20gal tub with the yellow flukers water cube guys along with the flukers dusty food, an overturned egg carton and a small tupperware container with lightly moistened hermit crab dirt.... Am I doing something wrong here? And If so what am I doing wrong? Should I move to Dubai Roaches? Any input helps thanks so much!
get some Dubia mailorder from one of the guys on here. Both guys sell starter kits that include food water crystals and egg crates. Get roaches dump in tote add heat outside feed & let them get busy!.... Read around and you will find a ton of info...
Thanks for all the input... I guess I'm just a sissy when it comes to bugs and holding and feeding roaches is just something I'll have to man up and do.... Now I looked at the 2 websites posted previously for prices is there anything special i would need to know for breeding? I read about heat and humidity... what do some you ladies and gentleman use to heat yours? Right now for my crickets im using my laptop since I have nothing else lying around that will produce enough heat
