He's an aggressive boy. Had her stressed out and just sitting in a corner not moving just flaring at her. She's off in another tank for now. Might offer a different female.

Well, he was a bastard lol

He OTOH left behind no marks. Other male took chunks out of her fins which is normal, but he was also ripping scales off her side with biting instead of stimulation with light nips.
Took this male a bit to figure out putting eggs in nest, but he's guarding the eggs now.

Biggest baby goldfish

Very prominent purple scale irridescence on this one. Seeing how they all develop before the next pairing with a new male. Magenta in guppies came from a single scale on a female. This is an entire patch
