bob is doing awesome!

my precious baby is growing fast… brought him with me on a harness to the pet store i got him at and nobody believed it was the same lizard! his colors have gotten so much brighter and hes just so much bigger. hes very popular with all my friends too… lately people have been coming over just to see him and feed him some greens! hes been obsessed with bok choy lately. and bell peppers, but at most i give him a few pieces a week. hes awesome in the bath and loves to swim, even though he always ends up pooping in his water lol. im so glad hes doing awesome. we updated his UVB to a reptisun t5 HO lamp, and increased his basking lamp to a 100w. his temps have been perfect! hes such a sweet and happy boy. hes awesome with hand feeding too! hes only managed to bite me once, bc i dropped a small piece of kale at the exact wrong moment haha. the local garden store gave us some flagstone for free so he has the perfect basking spot rn. he’s currently going through his first shed with us, and hes cery cranky today. will never change how much i love him, even if hes been hissing at me all day haha. the other day some friends and i were all sitting together with him and he ran across the floor and up onto my lap. he curled up and took a nap halfway inside my hoodie pocket. im so insanely lucky to have ended up with such a cutie :3 attached are a few recent images of him!!

Really very pretty dragon, and indeed a very good design of your dragon's habitat He can do so many things in there, climb, hide... just like his own room

Nice I never brought Taco to the pet store yet, but I had shown there some photos once in a while when I went there. I go there sometimes as they sell superworms which I just buy from time to time (so that's cheaper getting them there than ordering), aaand as getting superworms is a .. super excuse for watching reptiles
(They have beardies, green iguanas, tortoises, leopard geckos, sometimes chameleons and the owners have a crested gecko and a blue tongue skink (they are there all the time) and sometimes their own adult beardies visiting or they have a larger juvenile they keep for themselves. So, it's interesting )

The reason why the one here has usually all the species I mentioned above is, I think, that there aren't many of such stores here in Chile. After that, the closest one that I know (looked it up online) is 800 km away. And there are for sure no stores similar to PetSmart etc. (luckily).
So if there is one, it covers a large area of possibly interested people, and even with reptiles generally being rare pets (really, at work, I'm the "freak" with that kind of pet ) the herps (reptiles and amphibians, they also sometimes have frogs and toads) there seem to sell quickly.
So more similar to other highly-specialized stores that are rare to find, but if you find them, there's a huge variety.

P.S.: To the green iguanas I can add: They also have red and blue ones. It's the same species (green tree iguana) but a different pigmentation. They are brightly colored red or blue, respectively, not just "a hint".
