Hey guys okay, so vet said Inanna’s bloodwork showed elevated levels of phosphorus and calcium, and that the elevation was most likely seen with reproductive activity, which makes sense for her as she was digging a while ago for a few days but stopped. Anyways, she also said uric acid was slightly elevated, but that it was so mild that it was likely just due to a recent meal. I looked it up, because I love thinking about the worst case scenario apparently, and it said that those are all consistent with gout or kidney problems? So I’m just asking around to see if anyone has any concerns about that or anything, or if maybe I should go get a second opinion from a different vet? Her symptoms are still the same they’ve always been, and I’ve yet to find a cause, but runny stool is the only consistent symptom of anything being abnormal, she still has runny stool every time she goes. She threw up once time, but hasn’t done anything like that again, and her blood work didn’t show anything concerning besides what I stated. But, physically, besides shedding yet again, she’s fine. Also, I had her checked for parasites a few times, she was on treatment for pinworms, and the second fecal after that came back normal besides an incredibly small amount of entomaeba they said. vet said it was so mild that she wasn’t gonna treat it but because of the stool, she said it’s up to me.
