Hi, Mercury has been on the medication for crypto exactly a year today, for the first 8 months it was a daily dose at 0.02ml, but in the last 4 months it's been the same dose at a frequency of every other day. The medication is called Parofor and metabolises in the stomach. He is on a probiotic, I'm using reptoboost. He gets a bath in 500ml of warm water and 1 scoop of reptoboost daily, as advised by the vet (he will only eat mealworms as his protein source and every attempt at introducing new food doesn't work, so he does sometimes get a little impacted. But it's not often and managed with the baths). He also drinks when he's in the bath and I syringe water droplets onto his lips for him to drink also. He has regular faecal tests and we've successfully managed to get the crypto under control (as in only a few oocysts are present at each time of testing and it's consistent results). He also has quarterly vet checks to review the parofor dosage and check his overall health, including his quality of life. He's booked in for an admission on Friday at 8:30am for comprehensive blood tests, the vet is hopeful we can get enough to run a liver panel and see what's going on. Z
