Yes the medication can cause loss of appetite but you say he's in a new enclosure ? That can affect them as well, it's called relocation stress and is pretty common .

Hello,

How is he doing today? As AHBD said, being in a new enclosure will definitely affect them.
Hopefully he will start eating more greens soon as he starts to feel better.
Medications tend to change their appetites & digestion for a little while until everything starts
to clear out of the system. Keep him well hydrated to help out the kidneys.

Keep us posted on his progress.

What can i do to get him to drink water. He doesn’t drink water while he soaks. He doesn’t drink out of his water dish and he hates the dripper. I do mist the greens everytime but like i said he hasnt been that interested in them. When i give him the nutribac i dip the roaches/ crickets in water first. It just seems he dont care much for water. Hes starting his 4 last doses for coccidia on sunday the poor guy.

As long as he's eating the bugs and the water infused nutribac he should be fine. Some drink more water than others . Do you have a picture of him in the new enclosure ?

Is it my imagination, the angle that he's sitting or has he lost a little bit of the belly ? Make sure give the reduced amount of insects , that should increase his appetite for greens a little more.

There are times when i look at him he has lost a lil bit if his belly. I see him everyday so its hard for me to notice. I think an actual basking platform/rock is definitely helping him more compared to his old enclosure where he didnt really have one. In the morning i hear him scurrying around lol then he goes to his rock to recharge then hes back at it.

Yes I agree, a basking platform is really important or a large branch/log that has several levels. And that's a nice big playpen for him to run around. Curious about the fabric on the platform. That can snag his claws and cause him to fall or possibly twist his leg.

Question how many salads should he get a day and is there a point where i should swap his non eaten salad for some fresh salad lol. Kinda a dumb question but im just curious. Like say he eats his morning salad. Should i give him another one mid day or one salad a day is enough?

One salad is fine ! What do you put in it ?
I put dandelion greens and collards greens. I usually put mustard greens but the stores around here haven’t had them for a few days. Maybe outta season idk. To try and get him to eat em ill put some bsfl but he just eats them and not the salad. I have buuternut squash but he’s not interested

a poem by AHBD (THANK YOU SO MUCH! I LOVE IT!)

Sir Henry the dragon
Looking for his dragon girl
Ventures out in to the wide world
His hopes are up but as you can see
There is no dragon girl for Sir Henry
A light bulb goes off and he takes mom aside
Could you perchance get me a mail order bride ?
