No enemas if I didn't say that alreadyGood news everyone... I gave him a little bath to help him with some hydration and he seem to perk up a bit. He also went to the basking area although he just looks sleepy. I am still keeping the vet appointment to make sure he isn't dealing with any problems and that way if he decides to go into brumation it wont be an issue.
Ok. Also, how come no enemas?
If they want a fecal please take one in - 24 hr sampleWow ok thank you so much for providing the information. I'll make sure that the vet does NOT do an enema and if he suggests then might have to look for a different vet for him.
Hopefully he will be able to give them a fecal sample. If they want a fecal please take one in - 24 hr sample
Feed him baby food pumpkin w/ a drop of olive oil feed till he poops --- do not let them get him to poop they will do a enema - take it in a zip lock bag ---- 24 hr sampleHopefully he will be able to give them a fecal sample.
Yes- get a copy of the fecal when it comes back -Good news! He finally made a poop today. I put in a zip lock baggie and its in the fridge till I can drop it off at the vets tomorrow morning. His poop was pretty solid... wasn't liquidy or smelly so I guess that is a good sign?
He looks sick --- what are his surface basking temps ? Did we go over his husbandry w/ you?His black beard has been going off and on intermittently. I put him in his corner hide so he can feel safe and less stressed. He just looks like he is in pain. Also want to mention, he is not moving very much if any. He looks like he is struggling to move Luckily, have an appointment on Monday for him and will keep you all posted.
