My 3 year old bearded dragon has black spots on him and I have no idea what do I do. They have been there for a long period of time. He has more than two black spots but those ones on the photos are the bigger ones. Does anyone have advice?

Hello,

A lot of them develop pigmentation changes & most of the time it is nothing to worry about. When
did you start noticing them develop, after a recent shed? I don't think it's fungal in nature but to be
sure just keep an eye on them to be sure they don't change in size or shape.
If you wanted to treat them in case they might be fungal, you can try using some topical anti-fungal
cream such as lamisil or monistat.
What is the humidity in the tank currently?

Thanks so much really appreciate it!
When I give my bearded dragon a bath sometimes he uses his back foot to itch the black spot (the one in the second photo). He has had it for maybe over a year.

The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
