Hello I am new on this website.. excuse my english since I am deaf... I have almost 3 months old bearded dragon juvenile. His name is King and is very sweet. He has no interested crickets at all. He likes any thing is that is wiggles which he likes mealworms but its not good for him because its not stable... I brought black soldier fly larvae and he absolutely loves it!! When he got done eating he gave me the looks like he is so satisfied and happy.. My question is how much should I give him medium black soldier fly larva per meal?
King is a cute name for him. So, he loves his phoenix worms, huh? A lot of dragons do seem
to love them & they are very nutritious too. Are you feeding the small, medium or large ones?
Since he is growing, you can feed pretty much however many he would like to have right now.
Have you also tried dubias or crickets for him also, just to give a little more variety & protein
while he is growing?
He eats medium black soldier fly lava. That is his favorite food. I would love to feed him dubias but we are living with my mother in law for temporary and she isn't fond of dubias having in her house so I repsect her. Crickets- he has zero interest at all. Since I started bsfl he is looking very healthy, very active he is getting bigger everyday. He is almost 9 inches long.
