Black beard, high heart rate from alert?

So Kazoku had a pure black beard and high heart rate this evening. Alberta had an Emergency Alert sound off on our apple devices and our TV minutes prior. I am not 100% sure but is it possible the alert spooked him?
(If you are wondering what the alert was for; Alberta has a high hospitalization rate for covid)

I suppose it's possible. It could just be a coincidence though. Was there anything else going on that may have put him on alert? I probably wouldn't worry too much as long as his behavior returned to normal after a short time.
