It really depends on the type of bug whether it is difficult or not. I would do some research on breeding for your bearded dragon's favorite bug. I know shipping can be expensive. I just buy my bugs from a reptile or pet store.

Are you taking roaches or crickets?
My beardi dosent like crickets also learn he dosent like wax worms and has been eating superworms and dubi roaches. So I am trying to find some other kinds of bugs maybe something to replace the superworms Becuase I know they are fatty.

Butter worms meal worms and horn worms are all good treat worms-- super worms can be fed every other day 1-3 at a time -- butter worms are spendy and can be ordered from joshs frogs-

Hello,

It is pretty easy to start insect colonies, though a little time consuming depending on what you are trying
to keep.
The superworms are good feeders, as long as he gets a balanced diet & eats his greens & vegetation. I
have fed superworms for years. I just feed less of them than I would if I were feeding crickets only, or silk
worms, etc.
I would keep superworms as a feeders. You can use the dubias, maybe some silkworms or hornworms.
If you want to start your own silkworm colony, mulberryfarms.com has just got in silkworm eggs. They
are in the process of relocating to another state but they do have them at the moment. So you could start
your own colony of those if you wanted.
You could check out Rodentpro.com they have a variety of insects, too.

Dubiaroaches.com is a great place to order from. I’ve been using them since I got my baby about 8 months ago. Great reward program and have different bugs. I get Dubia roaches, discoid roaches, black soldier fly larvae, wax worms, hornworms, mealworms and super worms from there.

My two favorites are dubia.com and joshsfrogs.com

The dubia site likes to give a lot of freebies, and they also support quite a few reptile rescues, so I especially like spending my money there. The prices are competitive and they're charitable.

How much water should I be giving my bearded dragon? He will only drink from a dropper when I drop on his nose and I’m not sure if I should give it to him until he won’t drink anymore? Or should I stop after he’s had a certain amount?
