Hey guys.
I was planning on switching over to dubia instead of crickets. Reptar has decided to nearly starve himself instead of eat the crickets,so Dubia it is!
I already have a colony that I'm waiting to feed out of in a few more months, and he readily eats supers and giant mealies on occasion.
Can you guys suggest the best place to buy nymphs for the best price until my colony is ready? He eats 5/8 sized crickets from Ghann's. Is it pretty much the same size wise for dubia too,or should I go smaller?
I have been to C&S feeders,The Roach Ranch, and in all of the threads on the For Sale section. do you guys have any personal experiences that can help me? Any advice would be great! :study:
I have used CNS, Dubia Deli, and West Coast roaches before my colony was established. I love them all! WestCoast and CNS have Facebook pages with great deals and auctions.
You can also find colonies, feeders, and supplies at great prices in the for sale forum here.
I got my adults from dubia deli-- very nicely packages, do deaths. 1 adult male died 2 weeks later, 2 more adult males ended in the belly of my beardies.
I also bought 500 babies here from jdroaches right here on beardeddragon.org -- nicely package, and no dead that I can tell. they have trippled in size sence i got them, 25 bucks for 500 cannot beat that.
I have heard really good things from CNS but never purchased from them yet.
I currently have about 200 small babies, 500 1/4 to 1/2 roaches and my 100 adult females and now 22 males.
