Theres no refflection but this is how it sits the rock on the right is the basking rock
( ignore the thermometors they dont read properly i will be going to get new ones that read properly)

The uvb needs a reflector- at this point he's not getting much uvb- it needs to directly over him 6-8 inches

You can use some aluminum foil place the shiny part facing out --- but please get it directly over him

I would look at getting a new fixture - I would upgrade to a T 5 - I can post links for 3 good uvb's-

No uvb fixtures have mounting brackets that I know of - get a zoo med fixture-- then mount w/ picture wire found at like crafts direct hobby lobby etc

The repti sun one i got didnt have mounting brackets and i dont understand how to mount with picture wirses either

You need to wrap the fixture on each end picture wire is bendable make sure the wire is not clear to the end so it does not slip off- no fixtures have mounting brackets-

Maybe you can always cut the screen out for the uvb to sit

My t5 fixture from carolina custom came with a couple different styles of mounting brackets including ones that screw it to the top of the enclosure. Here is a link to the 22in version.

You don't want the light to be closer than 12in to your dragon if it's unobstructed however so you'd need to make sure you can set your decor up in a way to make it work.

Are you using 2 lights.?
What kind of lights are you using?

It might penetrate just right & you might get a good response from him
It looks like you're using a reptisun and an MVB.

Hold one of these up to the light just underneath the mesh screen:
Repti-ZOO UVB tester<-Cheap!
And then you can move Decor how high or low it needs to be.
The meters are expensive. 600-1000$
& it will give you an idea.

Im currently running a t8 10.0 reptisun tomorrow im going to get a arcadia t5 12% i hear there better for placement i need on my tank

You haft to be careful w/ screens -- if its a wide hole type you can use it on top but if its thick metal its going to block UVB rays --- certain UVB meters are not any good -- we recommend this one on this site
