Bee pollen

Hey my bearded dragon doesn’t eat his greens and when I try to put a bug on it he just gets the bug and leaves. I heard that bee pollen is really good for them and will help them eat their greens. Is there a certain or best kind to get?

I tried bee pollen it didnt work so beardies are different - I got mine from Walmart - its good hes getting greens when he goes for the bug

Well that’s the thing is he’ll just wait till he can just get the bug and if he gets greens he’ll freak out and shake his head for some reason

Mines wouldn’t eat greens for over 3mo. Still keep putting them in there daily. Took him to the vet and she advised to cut him back to bugs 2x’s a week until he starts eating greens. I also change what he eats weekly for ex.
Wk 1 maybe collards and kale
wk 2 maybe kale and Bak choy
Wk 3 parsley and Swiss chard
Wk 4 collards and bak choy

I found he really started to eat them more when I switched it up and added the bee pollen. Below is the link and I use the powder

I was also wondering my beardie is around 10-12 months old so he should be eating more bugs anyways. Can I still give him bugs 2x a week?

That was what my vet advised 2x a week. She said if he got hungry enough it would make him eat it. And tbh it was hard watching him not eat but then I started noticing he was sneaking to it. And again once I added the bee pollen he really started eating it more. At first he pecked at it but once got the true taste of the bee pollen he loved it.
