Bed Time...

So, last night/evening, I went around and turned off everyone's lights, including mine (save for my little knitting light) and turned the tv down so that the cats and Blazey would go to bed..

Usually, after lights-out, Blaze will crawl up one of the branches we have in her viv on the cool side and fall right asleep as soon as we turn off the lights...
BUT! not last night! No.. she ran around and around and around for at least 15 minutes. It was so funny, because the cats wouldn't lay down and relax either. They could hear her scamper around and wanted to watch! After a few minutes, she decided she had better go to bed (it was probably cooling down in there pretty quick! So, she crawled up to her usual sleeping branch and went to bed.

It was so cute, I'm telling you.. I txt my SO (he was at work) to tell him about it, and he said something to the effect of, "I wonder what's wrong with her.." I told him that there was nothing wrong with her, she just didn't want to go to bed.. just like a little kid!!

oh to cute , reminds me of when my son puts cooper to bed some times , he will wrap him up in the beardie blanket and turn off the lights and depending on wether cooper is ready or not well he will go to sleep or pop out and look like ha ha i'm not going to bed yet .

Kenshin kinda did the same thing last night. I put him in his burrito but didn't have time to take him out and hold him while he went to sleep. Well in about 10 seconds he popped out and was like. I don't WANNA go to sleep. And scampered around for awhile.

They are little kids. In the summer my babies fight sleep too. Sometimes I'd come home from work and all the lights in the house would be off (they're on timers) and find a dragon high on the log, head in the air, basking in the dark.
