My 3 yr old female, Bebe, has been displaying some really strange behavior towards me lately. My husband and I are expecting a baby in August. For about the last month, Bebe has been displaying head bobbing towards me anytime my husband gets her out. She won't even let me get her out of her tank anymore. At first I thought it was just because we got a juvenile dragon, but now I'm not so sure.
Have you handled that new dragon, than went to her ? Or can she see you when you do handle the baby ?
I would just plunge in and handle her as you always have, though I would wash with soap if you handled the new one first.
She will get accustomed to everything soon enough. Remember dragons HATE change !
That said, good luck and keep us posted.

We usually handle her first clean up then handle the baby. Unfortunately, our house is rather small so they are both in the living room and can see each other, though that was only a problem for a week or so. But she was acting this way just before we brought him home. It has just increased in severity since.
Try to hang a "curtain" over her viv before you handle the baby. Than remove when you handle her, this may help out, she is feeling territorial, and you just got dumped into what she is dominating.

I would also like to add that it is that time of the season to mate!! So she is showing you who's the boss or is trying to finda mate!!! Just my 2cents!!!!!
