Beardie's Quantum Leap, Oh Boy!

It was the cutest thing. Yesterday I brought home a desert background for my Kwayze girl. After I attached it to the terrarium, she was walking around with this look. I could have sworn she was saying to herself, "Cool - am I dreaming? How'd I get into the desert? It must have been a quantum leap! Oh boy!" So then she starts facing the background, like how she does when she looks out the window as if she's observing the environment in the desert or waiting to take cover from an overhead hawk. I thought she was going to start running through the desert too, but fortunately she didn't because that probably would have given her a good bump on the nose! Anyway, she seems to like it.

When I had a desert background my beardie, Sherman, would try to climb on top of the catci and rocks. It was pretty funny to watch.

i have the same here in spyro's viv, she also will look dreamily out at the view looking like she really wants to be there.... she's also leapt off her rock landing splat on the background ending up in a heap on the floor looking very confused :lol: i do try very hard not to laugh in front of her to spare further blushes :wink:

Ha that's adorable! I had to put a background on mine; he kept trying to chew the lamp cords hanging behind his viv. Unfortunately for him, rubbing his nose all over the glass does not make the cords, or the desert background, more accessible.
