Beardies not eating normal

I have a male and female beardie housed separately about 1 1/2 years each. The male has zero interest in eating worms (silk or super worms) and the female isn’t really interested either. He is more focused on trying to get to her cage.
The female has been to the vet and checks out normal. The male seems healthy as well. Is it just that time of year for the male to want to bred vs eat?
Their cages are properly set up and temps/humidity is also normal. Both are pooping normal.

The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
