It's that something?! The smell is unbearable so you can't blame them. However, you may not always be around to take her out.

She may train you to move quickly to clean up the mess.

she started doing that recently and i see a pattern of her panicking to climb out only when she needs to go. ig she will just have to deal with the smell when im not home.😂

My Beardie Falcor has only pooped in his terrarium 3 times in 4 years. He typically goes on a pee pad in our mudroom!

The smell is horrendous but makes cleaning the tank a lot more pleasant ;)

Never seen this with mine avoiding it.
My dragon poops in his enclosure, but only at a designated spot. A certain smooth stone and the surrounding sand is his toilet (I could make a 2 x 2 cm square in which his poop always is), and this is in a place where he never has to walk through to reach anything. It's close to the front glass. Easy for me to clean up - I scoop out the poop together with a good portion of sand (I'm lucky, as it doesn't cost me anything to replace that sand), and if necessary scrub the stone and then put it back. He only goes there for pooping, and and he isn't pooping anywhere else.

He has pooped outside once so far, on the foot mat (we have it inside of our apartment as when we had it outside, random dogs peed on it!). I guess he had chosen the foot mat as it was the closest thing to "sand and stones" he could reach: a rough surface. (The foot mat was not smelling of dog pee, as after that happened with the one outside, we bought a new one and kept it inside only.)

(How my beardie is kept: very large custom-made enclosure, naturalistic setup with wood, stones, sand (so he can get away very much from his poop), and the beardie is taken out a few times a week during evening as we're not at home during the usual working hours except for 1 - 2 days on weekends. When my beardie was younger, he only wanted to come out once each 7 - 14 days. Poop isn't smelling very much - more like compost, but far from horrible, and I'm very sensitive to all kind of smells.)

I can’t wait to see Dr.Wilson be a big dragon but I try to cherish hard the moments while he still fits in my hand 🦎
It’s been a month since I’ve joined bd.org! It feels like it’s been longer than that, but I’m glad I’m here and apart of this lovely community!
I can feel her staring into my soul demanding food
She was having a staring contest with a mealworm. I guess I never taught her to not play with her food, lol.
